ONE WORLD, READY OR NOT

This study of international politics and economics focuses on the burgeoning global economy. Grieder, a Rolling Stone editor, is not an academic; he's part prophet (an economic downturn is on the horizon), part political activist (let us work for fairer trade agreements), and part storyteller describing life in Indonesia, China and elsewhere. The sound quality of the reading and the foreboding music at the end of each side are top-notch. McGillin is without doubt a clear and dramatic reader; however, his periodic long pauses and overemphasis border on melodrama. He reads like one presenting secret knowledge to the uninitiated.
