PIGS IN HEAVEN

The main characters in Pigs in Heaven, Taylor Greer and her adopted daughter, Turtle, flee their home, when a Cherokee attorney questions the legality of Turtle's adoption. Their journey is the basis of this audiobook, which is gently and warm-heartedly told by the author. Kingsolver's pace is eve, her expression varied and the sound of her voice is well-suited to the tone of her novel. Not every author does justice to his or her own works, but, in this case, both the author's words and voice match in warmth, sensitivity and humor.
