TORCHWOOD: GOLDEN AGE

by | Read by John Barrowman and a Full Cast

Science Fiction • 45 min. • Audio Program • © 2009

In this episode of “Torchwood” we find the team in Delhi exploring a strange energy field that is ripping through the crowded streets. After a blast makes most of the city disappear, Jack brings the team to a building that shouldn't exist. There they find a vestige of colonial India that has been mysteriously preserved, complete with a duchess who is in love with Jack and who is planning to pull the whole world back to her "golden age." This polished BBC production features many of the voices from the “Torchwood” TV show and a wonderfully rich sonic environment of India. It's all over much too soon but succeeds in engaging the listener for every second. F.G. © AudioFile 2010, Portland, Maine [Published: APRIL 2010]
