Susan Denaker's well-acted, well-paced narration is the icing on the cake of this humorous romantic mystery. When beautiful Lyra Prescott, a film student, decides to make a documentary about the destruction of a park, she sets in motion a series of life-threatening events. Handsome Scots FBI Agent Sam Kincaid is assigned to be her bodyguard, whether she likes it or not, and the romantic sparks fly. Denaker’s character portrayals—from that of an inept hit man to that of Lyra's eccentric grandmother, who steals holy water for her garden—are heartwarming, smooth, and believable. A definite winner.
