ORDINARY PEOPLE, EXTRAORDINARY POWER

by | Read by Mirron Willis

Philosophy & Religion • 5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2010

In John Eckhardt’s work, we find an apologetic for the current apostolic movement taking place within Christiandom. In siding with the charismatics, Eckhardt believes that what is most needed is the restoration of the apostolic office in the church today. The pleasure of this audiobook is Mirron Willis’s ability to narrate with great care. His tone is both measured and dignified while his voice remains soothing and calm to the ear. Even more, he articulates as well as any narrator I have heard. Though this reviewer disagrees with the author's theological perspective, the discerning Christian can glean some valuable principles. Willis’s skill as a narrator redeems this controversial book. T.D. © AudioFile 2011, Portland, Maine [Published: AUGUST 2011]
