A SONG FOR THE ASKING

The many challenges and sorrows of life are the focus of a summer at the Kane home, headed by police detective Dan Kane and his loving, musical wife, Catheryn. Kane's children, Tommy, Travis, Allison and Nate, must find strength in their love of life and each other. Sanders portrays each individual by a gradation of tones, bringing each one to life. Sanders's quiet voice finds the courage Gannon has given each character, from Dan Kane's iron fist and control to Catheryn's quiet strength, to the teenagers' fight against bullies and intangible foes.
