STREISAND: A BIOGRAPHY

This biography reads like a textbook. Presenting chronologically, Edwards names every movie, every album and, yes, every lover associated with Streisand. Fans will already know much of this information, and the author lets her own critical opinion of the films and recordings shine through. With a tone more like that of a condescending talk show host, reader Rosenblat doesn't help liven things up. It's a pity there's little dialogue in the book.
