TAILS AND CHILDHOOD

This short collection by storyteller Michael Parent gives him a good opportunity to spin his yarns and weave a spell over the youngest of listeners with a proper attention span. Of the four stories, two are folk tales from a collection by Maria Leach, and two are original. Parent draws on his background of teaching and storytelling to become his characters, rather than simply portraying them. His enunciation is clear and careful, varying speed as the tale merits.
