This is an audio recording of the A&E "Biography" program of the same name. The audio quality of the text is top-notch. This program includes noted historians commenting on Jefferson and his times, along with actors reenacting Jefferson and other historical figures. It almost seems as if the historians were chosen for both their knowledge and their vocal quality because they communicate quite well. The actors sound as if they have been transported to our time from the eighteenth century. This enjoyable biography is punctuated by music of the period.
