TIME FLIES FOR MS. WIZ and YOU'RE KIDDING, MS. WIZ

These are just two stories from Blacker's wonderful Ms. Wiz series. In TIME FLIES, Jack messes with Ms. Wiz's time machine and goes back to the days of Queen Elizabeth I. In YOUR'RE KIDDING, St. Barnabas School is to be shut down, and the pupils will have to go to a horrible neighboring school. Ms. Wiz and her magic come to the rescue in each story. Helen Lederer is a lively Ms. Wiz and is even better as the school kids and Ms. Wiz's new baby who, of course, can talk. But she's at her hilarious best when magic turns all of the teachers and parents into the little ones they once were. (The adults show the same traits as when they were small.)
