Loco is the classic story of the "sheep" (farmers) against the "cattle" (ranchers) with Loco in the middle. In a slight twist on the classic Western range war, unpredictable and wild Loco finds trouble in Texas as he flees the federales in Mexico. Dufris provides Loco and his story with flesh and blood--Hispanics, Texans, and gringos. His narration is lively and dramatic, with excellent accents and gender characterizations.
