TILL THE BUTCHERS CUT HIM DOWN

The fifteenth book in the Sharon McCone series deals with a cast of characters who live life on their own terms. Being a "turn-around artist" whose job is to save a country on the brink of extinction is inevitably going to create enemies, but when the enemies appear to be looking for revenge, McCone is called in. Bernadette Dunne presents the characters with personality and with voices that reflect those personalities. The dynamics between the characters are clearly defined and allow the listener to anticipate the direction of the plot.
