He introduces readers to members of the sub's crew, each of whose experiences illustrate some aspect of life on the NEBRASKA and provide the background to put their stories into the bigger picture. Len Cariou does voices when needed but mostly serves as a documentary-style narrator. He handles the job well, maintaining a journalistic style that lets the experiences of the sailors speak for themselves. This production offers a fascinating glimpse into military life.
