FORBIDDEN FRUIT The Fall of Eve and Adam

Five cast members present excerpts from five writers with quite different perspectives on the story of the "fall" from the Garden of Eden. The main characters in the stories take on very different personalities and significance in each piece, dramatizing the role of women and attitudes toward them in various periods of history. This performance is thought-provoking and invites the listener to join in an examination of his or her own attitudes. The performers are versatile and adapt to the styles of the authors smoothly and with enthusiasm. The commentary on each piece provides historical perspective and ties them all together.
