WICKED WIDOW

In the late 1800s, the Wicked Widow, aka Madeline Deveridge, seeks the ghost of her late husband and, more importantly, whoever is trying to steal the secret book of the Vanza, a secret society. As she involves Artemis Hunt, dashing bachelor and expert in this secret society, the action increases at a murderous pace, and so do the steamy romantic scenes. Katherine Kellgren has great material to work with and passionately delves into both the romantic and action scenes. As Kellgren concentrates on the characters, Quick brings the threads of the plot together in their startling conclusion. Kellgren’s involved performance makes it difficult to forget the Wicked Widow’s reputation, so watch out for clues as to Madeline’s true motives hidden amidst the crime and passion.
