Author Michael Dobbs, former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party of England, is best known to readers as the author of the BBC series "To Play the King." The current book also features lots of political high jinks, as well as a British MP who lives up to his name of Goodfellow. Two other important characters are the Dalai Lama and his infant reincarnation. Well-known British actor Michael Kitchen, who appeared in the BBC series, offers a skilled reading that captures this tale's drama and suspense.
