THE GREEN KNIGHT

In this exploration of the actions and emotions of a group of upper-middle-class friends in contemporary London, the major event is the appearance of a man presumed killed in a misguided attack by Lucas Graffe, normally a highly rational professor. This victimized figure, a "Green Knight," stirs up a variety of staggering emotions on the part of a dozen acquaintances swept up in the whirlwind of passions. Eva Haddon reads the tale without being overwhelmed by the overwrought sensibilities of the characters. This straightforward telling is what the listener needs.
