LOVE & TREASURE

This novel presents a side of World War II history many have not heard. The realistic story explores the aftermath of the war through the confiscated property of those sent to the Holocaust death camps. Weaving between the past and present, the narration captures the quandaries of Jack, a captain in the U.S. Army, who grows old with many secrets. The deep baritone captures the listener's attention. The male and female characters are portrayed equally well; furthermore, the narrators avoid the higher pitches that can stereotype female voices. This is a literary volume that gains nuances and suspense in the audio version. The listener is transported into foreign times and lands.
