Angels have always been with us, acknowledged by people of faith and nonbelievers alike. Billy Graham presents a thorough and scholarly study of angels from the beginning to the end of time, citing biblical and anecdotal evidence throughout history. Jack Garrett does not possess the compelling vocal presence of the respected evangelist, nor does he try to imitate it. Garrett's performance in his own voice brings a quiet dignity to the text, detracting not at all from the insights and scholarly strength of Graham's work. While a Graham narration might have offered more in the way of entertainment value, Garrett's delivery frees the listener to meditate on the content of the work itself, and lingers long after in one's thoughts.
