POWER PLAY FBI Thriller, Book 18

In this installment of Coulter's popular FBI Thriller series, someone is trying to kill Natalie Black, a U.S. ambassador. What's more, the FBI discovers that Blessed Backman, a killer from a previous book in the series, is back. MacLeod Andrews's deep, rich voice is the perfect vehicle for the macho FBI agents he portrays. Renee Raudman makes a perfect pairing as she portrays the elegant, sophisticated Mrs. Black and her beautiful, athletic daughter, who becomes the love interest of hunky FBI agent Davis Sullivan. The two narrators provide an engaging contrast that works well to make each character easily identifiable. The continued appearances of handsome Dillon Savich and gorgeous Lacey Sherlock, the backbones of this series, are comfortable and quietly appealing. A.C.P. [Published: AUGUST 2014]
