THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

Roth convinces his seminar participants that even in the depths of a dark time they can reclaim the spiritual power that all religions tell us is ours for the asking. In a spontaneous way, he teaches, prays, chants, tells funny stories, and connects extremely well with his audience. Though you probably need to be there to get into the chanting, you get used to it once you hear the entire program and bond with Roth's convictions and his good wishes for all of us. This is a hopeful program that spiritually transcends the "seminar-verité" quality of the production.
