NEETA LYFFE Zombie Exterminator

Narrator Becky Parker portrays Neeta Lyffe in a campy fun style. When Neeta agreed to mentor future zombie hunters for a reality TV show, she never imagined the bizarre situations that would ensue. Parker plays up contestants' personalities with exaggerated voices for Dave, the producer; Roscoe, the glory hound; and Gordon, the ex-Marine. She delivers Fabian's sly asides with dry wit and fleshes out the show's fast-paced zombie battles. Part of the story is told through fan comments on a message board for which Parker uses vocal techniques to emphasize bad spellings and emoticons. Sporadic sound effects, including applause, crowd noises, and radio broadcasts, add auditory interest. Parker convinces listeners that zombie reality TV is great for ratings.
