Stephen Lang’s performance begins modestly but really takes off when describing the air battles that are a hallmark of Brown’s military thrillers. This twelfth offering again features General Patrick McClanahan and his comrades of “Madcap Magician,” a U.S. stealth military force whose task is to rescue a CIA agent from mainland Russia. With the covert operation, McClanahan takes action opposed by an isolationist president. Stephen Lang, gives a diversified reading he portrays a large cast of multinational characters.
