Narrator Ann Beach does such a fantastic job presenting these delightful stories that her words produce their own sound effects. As Josie awaits a visit from the tooth fairy, goes fishing with the boys, prepares for bonfire night, and glories in tiny compliments paid her, Nabb introduces a child that ALL ages can identify with. Beach's great gift is that she truly sounds like and emotes each character, whether it's Josie's gran, schoolmates, or the neighbors who take her under their wing.
