Jeff Woodman brings life to this fast-paced mystery, which reflects the worlds of the two teenaged sleuths determined to solve their toughest case yet. Woodman's narration suits the teenaged P.C. Hawke and his partner, Mackenzie, adding in equal parts of angst and ennui and surrounding them with the emotional voices of their schoolmates. When they investigate a murder to prove their friend Tom is innocent, Woodman uses inflection, tone, and accents to add years onto the voices of the adult suspects and investigators.
