SOONISH Ten Emerging Technologies That Will Improve and/or Ruin Everything

Audiobooks about the future promise or threaten everything, but the Weinersmiths do something different: They explain the near future based on current science and imagine the possibilities and the problems these technologies could produce. As narrators, the authors do an impressive job of keeping listeners' attention and maintaining strong projective voices. Kelly, who narrates more of the audiobook, nails the comedic timing of the innumerable jokes and bad puns they offer as they explore the science of augmented reality, bioprinting, and fusion power. Kelly's engaging though slightly nasally narration stands in contrast to Zach's narration, which is a bit more laconic.
