SILENT WITNESS

The corpses of two young men are found nude and mutilated in a cemetery crypt. On their chests is carved what looks like an upside down cross. Sexual murder? Cult killing? Witchcraft? Forensic pathologist Dr. Samantha Ryan is presented with a number of tantalizing clues in this British mystery. Dr. Sam is similar to Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta in that she helps to solve crimes by analyzing the most minute of clues. Reader Paddy Glynn gives Dr. Sam a pitch-perfect imitation of Roma Downey's ("Touched By An Angel") Irish lilt, and the story moves quickly enough to capture the attention of all mystery lovers.
