UNDER CONTROL Boston Fire, Book 5

On her way to a meeting, efficiency expert Olivia McGovern gets stuck on an elevator with Boston firefighter Derek Gilman. Narrator Tatiana Sokolov has the listener feeling both Olivia's stress at being trapped and her attraction to Derek. Derek, who is divorced, has two young children whom Sokolov portrays with youthful voices. Sokolov does a good job voicing Derek's Boston accent and portraying his ex-wife and fellow firefighters. In contrast, Olivia who is not a Boston native, does not share Derek's accent. Listeners will find themselves caught up in Derek and Olivia's romance and hoping for a happy ending.
