Narrator Stella Bloom believably portrays everyone from alpha-male warriors to female professional dancers, allowing the listener to be swept into the story. The action is nonstop--Gray's dramatic rescue of Allye from a notorious sex trafficking ring is just the beginning of their adventures. Bloom's pacing keeps the story moving and the tension high. Sensitive listeners may be disturbed by some of the scenes of violence against women; the villain here is a sex trafficker and truly horrific. The relationship between Gray and Allye is steamy, with plenty of explicit love scenes between the high-stakes action. A roller-coaster ride of an audiobook, not for the faint of heart!
