Rife with interspecies and intergalactic politics, this Star Trek episode lives and breathes, thanks to reader Tim Russ's adroit vocal characterizations. The producers wisely choose to present this as audio theater, laden generously with sound effects that follow the script closely and literally, sometimes too literally.
