LETTER TO MY WIFE

Wing intersperses an imaginary "I miss you" letter to his wife with extended live clips of his stand-up act. Clearly a veteran performer, Wing walks the vocal line somewhere between Drew Carey and a smug radio host as he reels off his routine before an appreciative audience. Wing knows his stories are homespun, and he plays the henpecked, hapless husband with the heart of a pirate with comfort and ease. You'll feel as if you're listening to a suburban middle-aged man who loves sharing wisecracks over the picket fence--but Wing is another funny Canadian who know his audience like the back of his hedge trimmer.
