SACRED STONE

SACRED STONE, second in the Oregon Files series, combines a meteorite, secret dirty bombs, and vials of plague for The Corporation to hunt down and destroy before WWIII commences. The Corporation, led by series hero Juan Cabrillo, is known as “mercenaries with a conscience.” J. Charles captures the spirit of danger and action-packed adventure with tight pacing, clear enunciation, and well-done Middle Eastern, European, and British accents. He depicts demented industrialist Halifax Hickman with maniacal laughter. Set in worldwide locales, the story includes some confusing military jargon.
