THE ROTTWEILER

Inez runs an antique shop from her house in London, where she also rents flats to Ludmilla and her eccentric boyfriend, Freddy Perfect; to Will Cobbett, who has the mental age of an 8-year-old but the body of an Adonis; and to Jeremy Quick, who like the others is not what he seems. When young ladies are found garroted by a killer the press calls "The Rottweiler," tokens stolen from the victims start turning up in Inez's shop. Jennifer McMahon has a wonderful time with Ludmilla's phony accent, the plummy diction of the shop assistant's passionate admirer, and the subtle slur in the speech of Will's Aunt Becky, who is drinking too much, and the listener will have fun too.
