This book, narrated mostly by Chris Fabry, is part biography and part Michael Reagan on political and social issues. Fabry's reading is clear, even-paced, and sympathetic to the text. He clearly communicates Reagan's conversational tone and conveys the exhortatory nature of the book. Reagan reads some portions of his text, and he is a skilled communicator, as well. Moreover, the production includes Reagan's moving eulogy at his father's funeral. The book is not only biographical, but also puts forth the author's thoughts on issues. For example, in discussing his parents' divorce, he offers a discussion of the impact of changes in divorce laws and what reforms could be offered.
