This recent releases from Dover's read-along series, Listen &Read, has mixed success. Irish Fairy Tales is full of blarney and fanciful yarns, well-told by Des Keough in an charming brogue. The text is a little stilted, but Keogh makes up for it with a charming style. The title might have benefited from adaption as the spoken recording falls short of the potential of Keough's voice.
