Get ready to bone up on the human body along with third-grader Judy Moody and her class. As Mr. Todd takes the class through their paces, Judy has run-ins with Jessica Finch, opportunities to outwit her brother, Stink, and moments that capture both her naïveté and self-confidence. McDonald outdoes herself with a myriad of skeleton jokes and medical word play to delight the young listener. Kate Forbes's narration radiates Judy's personality. Forbes gives just the right intonation for various classmates and plays with words in fine juvenile fashion.
