THE TWILIGHT ZONE RADIO DRAMAS Collection 1

Eight episodes of the original “Twilight Zone” TV series are here rewritten for radio by horror pro Dennis Etchison, and effectively introduced and narrated by Stacy Keach. (His voice, however, is needlessly reverbed.) Each is enacted by a competent repertory, usually fronted by a “name” actor. Quality varies, but all are professionally done. Some scripts bear a whiff of the ’60s, turn awkward when explaining a visual, or sport small errors. But the program should chill even those who know the plots, as well as newcomers to the series.
