RASCAL TAKES OFF

[Editor's Note: The following is a combined review with RASCAL IN TROUBLE.]--Poor Rascal the dragon always has trouble of one sort or another. To his owner, Ben, he's much like a pet dog but far more magical. Narrator Rebecca Macauley captures Ben and his unusual pet. Her warm and charming creation will captivate young listeners. In RASCAL IN TROUBLE, Rascal is left outside on a cold day. When he wants to come inside, Dad insists that he beg. The tables are swiftly turned when Dad is locked out. The conclusion is funny and satisfying. In RASCAL TAKES OFF, he tries to fly like other dragons. After many tries he flies but only by accident. Each audiobook contains three versions: entertainment with original music; a read-along with page-turn prompts; and narrator's voice only. Totally enchanting.
