GOOD BUSINESS

The business and psychology professor known for his groundbreaking books on "flow" approaches the challenges of business with the same humanity. His writing spans broad swaths of social and philosophical history, placing his ideas on solid intellectual ground. Work in large organizations, he says, has become something apart from the joyful engagement with tasks and community that we are designed to enjoy.
