THE TAIL OF THE TIP-OFF

Rita Mae Brown and her feline co-author, Sneaky Pie Brown, return with their eleventh cozy. Narrator Kate Forbes gracefully changes her pitch, tone, and timbre to cross species lines. She captures the personality and charisma of each cat and dog, as well as human protagonist Postmistress Harry Hairsteen and her companions. Humans stumble over one another and sniff with disdain at murder scenes; whereas, cats and dogs collect clues and look out for one another.
