FREE FALL

Hopelessly trapped in a cave, four adolescent boys battle their inner demons and the norms that require them to keep these demons concealed. Slowly they reveal their frailties and forge new bonds. The gravelly voice of Ed Sala is a perfect vehicle for this unfolding drama. Subtle voicing provides some differentiation of characters. More often, Sala's intonation and interpretation of dialogue delineate the four highly individual characters. Sala's reading gives equal emphasis to the battle for survival and the emotional drama.
