PREACHER'S SON

by | Read by Various Narrators

Fiction • 9.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2005

The pastor of the largest African-American church in Queens decides to run for political office on a platform supporting family values. Then it is revealed that his son is dating a stripper, his daughter is pregnant by her married lover, and he himself has a shady past. Each narrator brings his or her character to life in this smart and sexy novel. There is one drawback; each main character/narrator represents a chapter in which he or she is the sole voice for each character. It is disconcerting to hear the novel's main characters speak in so many different voices. Those seeking Christian entertainment will find the title misleading. This is a sexually explicit audiocassette. P.R. © AudioFile 2006, Portland, Maine [Published: JUN/ JUL 06]
