LITTLE BRITAIN The Complete Radio Series, Vol. 1

The "Little Britain" radio series has won many awards since it was first broadcast on BBC Radio in 1995. Stand-up comedians Matt Lucas and David Walliams met as teenagers at the National Youth Theatre and began collaborating on a variety of sketches and comedy routines soon after. The results are hilarious. Each actor portrays a variety of characters, such as Cockney film star Jackie Paper, the world's worst transvestite, and the mean leader of a weight-loss club. Using distinct voices and rhythm, the actors give each wacky character individuality and style. Additionally, narrator Tom Baker recites his bizarre commentary with just the right dose of propriety and calm. LITTLE BRITAIN is a highly entertaining audio experience.
