PICCOLO AND ANNABELLE Vol. 3, The Stinky Cheese Gypsies

Piccolo and Annabelle, opposites to the extreme, return in another wildly funny escapade. Piccolo is an orderly, respectful boy while his guardian angel, Annabelle, is compulsive and irreverent. Narrator Stanley McGeagh captures the pair's age and personality differences with accuracy and charm. Trouble begins when Annabelle wins a motorcycle and takes up with Heaven's Angels, who are stinky cheese-eating gypsies. McGeagh creates accents and tough guys, makes impressive motorcycle "vrooms," and takes full advantage of Axelsen's splendid wordplay. Whimsical music adds to the charm.
