I, HOUDINI

Houdini, the hamster of masterful escapes, recites his personal history, including the many successful slips he's given his owners. Banks performs the role of Houdini, the main character/narrator, as well as those of the various humans. As Houdini, Banks uses her normal speaking voice, which sounds naturally chipper and well matched to Houdini's pert personality. Varying her speech patterns, vocal intonations and pitch to fit the adults and children, Banks easily differentiates the characters.
