ANNA/BELLA

by | Read by Gillian Walton

Young Adult Young Adult • 3.75 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2006

Twelve-year-old Annabella's worried, and Gillian Walton measures every bit of her anxiety. It starts out simply enough. Her parents have divorced, and now she finds herself taking on two roles: innocent, art-loving Anna at her mum's and ready-to-rock Bella at her dad's. Soon, however, the juggling of her two lives becomes complicated--with two best friends, two boyfriends, and worries about a split personality. As Annabella's troubles build, the tension in Walton's voice mounts appropriately. At first, the other characters remain cheerful, but as Annabella's strangeness grows, they become concerned. Nonetheless, Walton voices the story with humor throughout. S.W. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine [Published: MAY 2008]
