Jesse St. James, ambitious archaeology student, gets a lesson in Druid curses and steamy romance. Explaining why romance and paranormal fiction go so well together is beyond this reviewer. But why question a good read! With her gorgeous magical hero—a time-traveling Scottish warrior—Moning has certainly cornered the market for this genre. Narrator Phil Gigante, who delivers the entire Highlander series, is outstanding. His voice is deep and sensual yet nimble in its ability to switch genders, deliver accents, and depict steamy love scenes.
