MARAUDER

Marauder is the story of the people of Arkansas who were caught between Confederate guerillas, led by fanatic Eleazar Crysop, and Yankee partisans during the winter of 1862. A lone woman, Rhea Dameron, heals the sick in body and spirit, and her story is told by her adopted son, John Luke Pierce. Read by Sky Vogel, an actor, director and radio producer, this story of history, humor, revenge and hope moves swifty through a series of violent confrontations. Vogel uses accents, pauses, pitches and variations of pace to depict the variety of characters drawn by Haseloff.
