But his heart changes when he and his pregnant princess are viciously attacked, and he executes far-reaching vengeance upon those responsible. Simon Vance's clipped British accent and precise enunciation lend a beautiful otherworldly ambiance to this fantasy. His metered pace ensures that every word, sentence, and scene are savored. Authentic British and Irish character accents, male and female voices, and emotional nuances are easily distinguishable. Although there are intermittent periods where inordinate details hinder the story’s pace, Vance's delivery helps maintain listener interest.
