WHITE ON WHITE

This collection should be prized by any admirer of E.B. White. The poems, essays and letters paint an intimate portrait of White, which is enhanced by his son Joel’s readings. Joel White’s voice is very similar in cadence and tone to his father’s. His reading is clear, appropriately unpolished, and he creates just the right mood for his favorite pieces from his father’s work. Each poem or essay reflects the wit and wisdom of its author. One only wishes there were more! The program is over too quickly, leaving us with what has seemed like a very real visit with E.B. White.
